Key Responsibilities

• Carry out engine room watchkeeping duties as directed by the Engineer on watch
• Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of main engine and auxiliary machinery
• Assist with bunkering operations and monitoring fuel and lube oil systems
• Support repairs and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and pollution prevention measures
• Keep engine room spaces clean, tidy, and ready for inspection at all times

Requirements

• Valid Motorman / Oiler (Engine Rating) CoC and STCW certificates as required
• Previous experience as Motorman / Oiler, preferably on tankers; LNG experience is an advantage
• Valid tanker and basic safety training certificates
• Good English communication skills
• Medically fit for sea service with valid seafarer medical certificate
• Right to sail under the relevant flag and availability to join in Brazil
