OSM Thome is looking for a dedicated 3rd Officer to join our offshore special purpose vessel operating out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. If you are a safety-minded officer with solid navigation skills and offshore experience, we invite you to sail with us.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the bridge team with navigation, watchkeeping, and voyage planning
• Monitor vessel position, route, and traffic during watch
• Support safe deck operations, including offshore and DP-related tasks as required
• Carry out safety and security rounds, inspections, and drills
• Maintain charts, publications, and bridge equipment as directed
• Follow company procedures and international regulations at all times

Requirements

• Valid STCW license as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW)
• Previous experience as 3rd Officer, preferably on offshore or special purpose vessels
• Valid offshore medical and mandatory STCW safety courses
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork attitude
• Eligibility to work and travel to/from Brazil
