Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading worldwide. Play a key role in deck operations, cargo handling, and navigation, supporting the Master and leading the deck team safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise cargo loading, discharging, tank cleaning, and ballast operations
• Assist the Master with safe navigation, bridge watches, and voyage planning
• Lead and supervise deck crew in daily deck and maintenance work
• Maintain cargo gear, safety equipment, and deck machinery in good order
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, ISM, ISPS, and international regulations
• Support onboard safety culture, drills, and emergency preparedness

Requirements

• Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) license
• Recent experience as C/O or 2/O on Oil/Chemical Tankers
• Valid tanker endorsements (Oil/Chemical) and STCW certificates
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Strong leadership skills and hands-on attitude on deck
• Fit for duty with valid medical and relevant travel documents
