OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Able Seafarer (AB) to join our chemical tanker fleet trading worldwide. Be part of a safe, professional crew keeping our vessel seaworthy and ready for global operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out deck work including mooring, anchoring and cargo operations on chemical tankers
- Perform lookout and helmsman duties as required by bridge team
- Assist with maintenance, painting, cleaning and routine deck inspections
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills and emergency response
- Support loading, discharging and tank cleaning operations under officer’s supervision
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW II/4 Deck Rating or equivalent AB certificate
- Previous experience as AB on chemical or product/chemical tankers
- Valid basic and advanced tanker / chemical tanker certificates
- Valid medical certificate and all required STCW safety courses
- Good English communication skills and strong safety mindset
