Join our crew as Cook on a passenger ferry in Europe. You will prepare good, safe meals for crew and passengers, keeping the galley clean and well organized. This role is hands-on and suits someone who enjoys life at sea and working in a busy galley.

  • Key responsibilities:
    • Plan and prepare daily meals for crew and passengers
    • Ensure food safety, hygiene and correct storage at all times
    • Keep galley, equipment and stores clean and in good order
    • Assist with loading, checking and rotating food supplies
    • Follow company menus, budget and portion control
    • Work closely with ship’s officers and crew to support smooth operations
  • Requirements:
    • Previous experience as cook at sea, preferably on passenger vessels or ferries
    • Valid maritime cook/ship’s cook certificate as required
    • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
    • Good knowledge of food safety and galley hygiene standards
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple meal times
    • Good English communication skills and a cooperative attitude
