Set sail as Chief Officer on our oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. As part of OSM Thome’s deck team, you will play a key role in safe navigation, cargo operations, and leading the crew on board.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise deck operations, including loading, discharging, and tank cleaning
• Assist the Master with safe navigation and bridge watchkeeping
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and vetting standards
• Lead and train deck crew, maintaining good discipline and teamwork
• Oversee maintenance of deck equipment, cargo gear, and safety appliances
• Update and maintain ship’s records, checklists, and cargo documentation

Requirements:

• Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) license
• Recent experience as C/O or 1/O on oil/chemical tankers
• Advanced Oil and Chemical Tanker training certificates
• Valid STCW certificates, medical and seaman’s book
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Strong safety mindset and leadership skills
