- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engine officers and crew with daily operation and maintenance of machinery
- Support watchkeeping in the engine room under supervision
- Carry out routine checks, cleaning, and basic repairs as instructed
- Follow safety procedures and participate in drills and toolbox meetings
- Keep engine spaces, tools, and equipment in good order
- Requirements:
- Completed or ongoing maritime engineering education with Engine Cadet status
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
- Good English communication skills
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work in a team
- Motivated to build a long-term career at sea on tanker vessels
