Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer on a chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will support safe and efficient engine room operations and ensure all machinery runs smoothly during global voyages.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Engineer in daily engine room operations and maintenance
• Operate and monitor main engine, auxiliary engines, boilers and related systems
• Plan and carry out routine maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
• Maintain engine room logs, records and reports as required
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company procedures
• Support bunkering operations and fuel/lube oil management
• Lead and guide engine room ratings in daily tasks

Requirements

• Valid STCW CoC 2nd Engineer (III/2) for seagoing vessels
• Recent experience as 2/E on chemical or product tankers preferred
• Good knowledge of engine room systems and tanker operations
• All required STCW safety and tanker training certificates up to date
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and tanker documents
