Join OSM Thome as Chief Cook on our worldwide trading Oil/Chemical Tankers. We are looking for an experienced seafarer who can run a safe, clean and efficient galley and provide good, tasty food for an international crew.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare daily meals for officers and crew
- Manage food stores, provision ordering and stock control
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness and safe work practices in the galley
- Follow vessel budgets and catering standards
- Work closely with Master and Chief Officer on menu planning and supplies
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chief Cook on tanker vessels preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Good knowledge of galley safety and food hygiene standards
- Ability to cook international seafarer-style meals
- Good English communication and strong teamwork attitude
