Join OSM Thome as Night Cook/Baker on board an offshore construction vessel sailing worldwide. You will work the night shift, preparing fresh baked goods and hot meals to keep the crew well fed and ready for work in a safe and clean galley.
- Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and bake bread, pastries and snacks during night shift
- Assist with preparation of breakfast and next-day meals as required
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and galley cleanliness
- Follow planned menus and portion control to reduce waste
- Work closely with the Chief Cook and catering team
- Requirements:
- Experience as cook/baker, preferably on board offshore or merchant vessels
- Good knowledge of basic baking and hot galley operations
- Valid STCW certificates and offshore documents as required
- Fit for sea service, able to work night shifts and in rotation
- Good English communication and strong focus on safety and hygiene
