OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Able Seafarer (AB) to work on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Sail with a professional crew, keep high safety standards, and support safe cargo and ship operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out deck work, maintenance, painting, chipping, and cleaning
- Perform mooring and unmooring operations safely
- Stand lookout and helmsman watch as required
- Assist with cargo and bunker operations as directed by officers
- Follow onboard safety procedures and take part in drills
- Keep deck equipment and gear in good working order
- Requirements:
- Valid AB certificate and STCW documents
- Previous experience on oil/chemical tankers
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Strong safety attitude and ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew
