Join OSM Thome as Bosun on a car carrier trading worldwide. Lead the deck crew, keep deck areas safe and shipshape, and support smooth cargo and mooring operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise deck ratings in daily work
- Organize and carry out deck maintenance and repair
- Assist with mooring, unmooring, and anchoring operations
- Support cargo operations and lashing of vehicles
- Follow safety procedures and promote safe working practices
- Requirements:
- Valid Bosun/AB certificates and seagoing documents
- Previous experience as Bosun or senior AB, preferably on car carriers or similar vessels
- Good leadership and communication skills with multicrew teams
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
