- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring, unmooring and cargo operations
- Perform chipping, painting, cleaning and general deck maintenance
- Stand lookout and assist on the bridge as required
- Handle mooring ropes, wires and fenders safely
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills
- Support Bosun and officers with daily deck tasks
- Requirements:
- Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) certificate and STCW documents
- Valid seaman’s book and medical fitness certificate
- Previous experience on cargo vessels preferred; car carrier experience an advantage
- Basic spoken and written English
- Good teamwork, safe working attitude and willingness to learn
