Join our LNG tanker fleet as an Electrician and be part of a safe and professional crew trading worldwide. You will work with modern systems, keep critical equipment running, and support trouble-free voyages across the globe.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out daily operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment onboard
- Maintain power generation and distribution systems, including switchboards and emergency power
- Look after engine room, deck and accommodation electrical systems, including lighting and motors
- Assist with maintenance of navigation, communication and cargo control systems
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with class, flag and company standards
- Keep technical records, maintenance logs and spare parts inventory up to date
- Requirements:
- Previous seagoing experience as Electrician, preferably on tankers or LNG vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness as per international requirements
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, motors, generators and automation
- Good English communication skills, both spoken and written
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot faults, and support the engine department
