We are looking for an experienced Messman to join our oil/chemical tanker fleet trading worldwide. You will support the galley team in keeping a clean, safe and well-organized mess and accommodation for all crew.
- Key responsibilities:
- Keep mess room, galley and pantries clean and tidy at all times
- Assist in food preparation and serving meals to officers and crew
- Wash dishes, cooking utensils and galley equipment
- Clean accommodation, corridors and sanitary areas as assigned
- Handle garbage segregation and disposal as per vessel procedures
- Follow all safety, hygiene and sanitation standards onboard
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Messman, preferably on tanker vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fit for sea duty
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work in a multinational crew and follow instructions
- Positive attitude, good hygiene and strong work ethic
