Join OSM Thome as Motorman / Oiler on a crude oil tanker trading in the North Sea. You will be part of a professional engine team, keeping the vessel’s machinery running safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliaries
- Carry out routine engine room rounds and report any abnormalities
- Perform lubrication, cleaning, and basic repair work as instructed
- Support bunkering and fuel transfer operations
- Follow all safety procedures and keep work areas clean and tidy
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (MTM) license and STCW certificates
- Experience on oil tankers, preferably crude oil
- Good knowledge of engine room operations and safety practices
- Fit for duty with valid medical and seafarer documents
- Ability to work in a multinational crew and follow instructions clearly
