  • Job Title: Pipeline Technologies Project Manager.
  • Projects: Various Onshore projects.
  • Location: Fano, Italy.
  • Duration: 12 months (renewable).
  • Rotation: TBC.
  • Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly paid only while working.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Valid authorization to work in Italy.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, materials, welding, or a related technical discipline.
  • Solid background in pipeline technologies for onshore energy projects.
  • Knowledge of international industry codes and standards (e.g., EN, ASME, API, BS).
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and specialist activities.
  • Strong understanding of welding processes, NDT methods, corrosion protection, and materials engineering.
  • Proficiency in English; additional project-related languages are considered an advantage.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and support continuous improvement initiatives.


Tasks:

  • Lead and integrate welding, inspection, materials, and corrosion functions to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Provide specialist technical guidance to project teams throughout execution phases.
  • Oversee the allocation, coordination, and development of technical personnel.
  • Plan and deliver training activities to strengthen team capability and performance.
  • Interpret client specifications and applicable international standards, ensuring full technical compliance.
  • Monitor field progress and proactively resolve issues related to welding quality, inspection, materials, and corrosion control.
  • Contribute to innovation programs and the implementation of enhanced engineering solutions.
  • Review industry publications and technical developments to identify new opportunities and best practices.
  • Conduct technology and market assessments to maintain operational and commercial competitiveness.
