Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on board modern AHTS vessels working in Europe & UK waters. We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused C/O with solid anchor handling and offshore support background to work closely with the Master and deck team.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in safe navigation and overall vessel operation
- Plan and supervise deck and cargo operations, including anchor handling and towing
- Lead and manage the deck crew during offshore and supply operations
- Monitor stability, ballast, cargo and deck equipment condition
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company procedures
- Oversee maintenance of deck machinery, mooring and towing gear
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer / Chief Mate license (STCW compliant)
- Strong AHTS and offshore vessel experience
- Good knowledge of DP, anchor handling and towing operations
- Valid STCW safety courses and medical certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Proven leadership and ability to work in a multinational crew
