Lead as Master on a modern container vessels worldwide.
We are looking for 10 Masters (CPT) based in Europe. Lead a skilled crew, ensure safe and efficient vessel operations, and uphold high standards of seamanship and compliance.
Position Overview:
- Role: Master
- Location: Worldwide, joining in Asia
- Project: Container Vessels
- Rotation: 4 months (+/- 1) on & 2 months off
- Duration: 4 months - with option to extend or become permanent based on availability and performance, with rejoining bonus
- Rank Experience: 6 months in rank
- Container Experience: Required, minimum 3 months
- EU/EEA residence is required
Role and Responsibilities:
- Overall command of the vessel, crew, cargo and navigation
- Ensure safe voyage planning, watchkeeping and ship handling
- Maintain compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM and company procedures
- Oversee cargo operations and stability on container trades
- Lead and motivate officers and crew, maintain discipline and good teamwork
- Ensure proper maintenance standards and readiness for port state and class inspections
- Report operational, safety and commercial matters to shore management
Qualifications / Experience:
- Valid Master Mariner (STCW II/2) license
- Minimum of 6 months experience in rank
- Minimum of 3 months experience as Master on Container Vessels is required.
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness as per international standards
- Strong navigation, ship handling and cargo planning skills
- Good knowledge of international rules, regulations and ISM/ISPS
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
