Join OSM Thome as 4th Engineer / Junior Engineer on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will work with an experienced engine team, support safe and efficient vessel operations, and build your seagoing career in a professional and supportive environment.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries, pumps and machinery
- Carry out routine engine room watchkeeping under supervision
- Support planned maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards in engine room
- Follow company procedures, safety rules and environmental regulations
- Requirements:
- Valid 4th Engineer / Junior Engineer license (STCW compliant)
- Tanker (oil/chemical) experience or relevant training preferred
- Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker certificates
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and travel documents
