Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer (2/E) on a PSV operating offshore Angola. You will support safe and efficient engine room operations, working closely with the Chief Engineer and vessel team.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist Chief Engineer in day-to-day running of engine room and machinery
- Operate, monitor and maintain main engines, auxiliaries and all related equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance and repairs as per PMS and company procedures
- Keep engine room and workshops clean, safe and well organized
- Maintain engine room logs, records and reports accurately
- Support safe operations during maneuvers, cargo and offshore activities
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2) CoC suitable for offshore/PSV operations
- Previous experience as 2/E on PSV or similar offshore vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and offshore documents as required
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for offshore work and willing to work in Angola
