- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out deck duties as directed by the Chief Officer and Bosun
- Participate in mooring and unmooring operations
- Assist with cargo operations and watchkeeping
- Perform chipping, painting, cleaning, and general deck maintenance
- Support safety drills and follow shipboard safety procedures
- Requirements:
- Valid AB Certificate and Seaman’s Book
- STCW certificates in line with rank
- Previous experience on bulk carriers preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea service
