Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a Platform Supply Vessel operating in UK waters. We are looking for an experienced and safety-minded leader to support the Master and ensure safe, efficient deck and cargo operations offshore.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master with safe navigation, watchkeeping and vessel handling
- Plan and oversee deck and cargo operations, including DP and offshore supply work
- Lead and supervise deck crew, ensuring safe work practices and drills
- Monitor vessel stability, loading, ballast and seaworthiness
- Support HSSE routines and ensure compliance with company and flag state rules
- Maintain deck, safety and firefighting equipment in good order
- Requirements:
- STCW Chief Officer unlimited license, valid for service in the UK sector
- Strong PSV / offshore vessel experience, preferably with DP operations
- Valid STCW safety courses, medical certificate and offshore certificates as required
- UK National or holding UK Frontier Work Permit / UK Skilled Visa
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Proven leadership skills and solid safety mindset
