OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join A NEPITA. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems onboard.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot automation, control, navigation and communication systems
- Carry out regular inspections, testing and planned maintenance of electro-technical equipment
- Support engine and deck teams with electrical and electronic issues and repairs
- Ensure all work complies with safety rules, class and flag requirements
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO Certificate and STCW documents in line with position
- Previous sea service as ETO on similar vessels
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and available to join ASAP
