Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a Fast Supply Vessel (FSV) operating offshore Luanda, Angola. You will work as part of a professional deck crew, supporting safe vessel operations and cargo runs to and from offshore installations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with vessel mooring, unmooring and anchor handling as required
- Carry out deck watch, lookout and gangway duties
- Handle cargo operations, rigging, and lifting gear safely
- Perform routine deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Operate deck equipment and follow all safety procedures and standing orders
- Support bridge team with lookout and emergency duties
- Requirements:
- Valid AB Certificate and relevant STCW documents
- Previous experience as AB, preferably on offshore or supply vessels
- Valid Seafarer’s Medical and offshore survival / HUET (if applicable)
- Good level of English, spoken and written
- Fit for offshore work, safety-minded and a good team player
