Join OSM Thome as a Fitter on LPG/Ethylene tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional deck and engine team, keeping all steel work, pipelines, and deck equipment in safe and good condition.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out welding, cutting, grinding and general steel repairs onboard
- Maintain and repair pipelines, supports, brackets and tank fittings
- Assist with maintenance of deck machinery and engine room equipment as required
- Support planned maintenance and follow safety and work permit procedures
- Work closely with officers and crew to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations
- Requirements:
- Relevant seagoing experience as Fitter, preferably on tankers
- Good welding and fabrication skills (arc, gas cutting, basic machining)
- Good English communication and solid safety awareness
- Willingness to work worldwide on LPG/Ethylene tanker fleet
- Fitter must have valid STCW and BT PSSR training
- Candidate prefers with valid US Visa
