- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring, anchoring and cargo operations
- Perform chipping, painting, cleaning and general deck maintenance
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge when required
- Handle lines, fenders and deck gear safely
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills
- Support officers and senior crew with daily tasks
- Requirements:
- Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) license / seaman’s book
- STCW basic safety training and valid medical certificate
- Experience on bulk carriers preferred
- Good spoken English for shipboard communication
- Fit for sea service, safety-minded and willing to work in a team
