- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer with navigation, passage planning, and watchkeeping
- Stand bridge watch as OOW, ensuring safe navigation at all times
- Assist with cargo and ballast operations as directed
- Monitor and maintain navigation equipment and charts
- Carry out safety rounds, drills, and compliance with company procedures
- Assist with documentation and reporting related to deck department
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OOW CoC (unlimited)
- LNG or tanker experience preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork attitude
