Join OSM Thome as a Messman on board our bulk carriers trading worldwide. You will support the catering team and help keep a clean, safe and friendly environment for all crew.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Cook in galley and pantry work
- Set up and clear officers’ and crew mess rooms
- Serve meals and beverages to crew
- Wash dishes, utensils and galley equipment
- Clean galley, mess rooms and food storage areas
- Assist with garbage segregation and disposal
- Follow all safety, hygiene and food-handling standards
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Messman or similar position at sea preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents
- Good level of English communication
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Team player with positive attitude and good hygiene
- Willing to work on worldwide trading bulk carriers
