Join OSM Thome as a Motorman / Oiler on a PSV working offshore in the United Kingdom. You will support the engine room team in keeping all machinery running safely and efficiently on board.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with operation and maintenance of engine room and auxiliary equipment
- Carry out routine checks, lubrication and cleaning of machinery and engine spaces
- Monitor and report any abnormalities in machinery performance
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills and toolbox talks
- Support bunkering, transfers and other deck/engine room duties as required
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Motorman / Oiler, preferably on offshore or PSV vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness suitable for offshore work
- Strong safety awareness and good engine room housekeeping practices
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work in a watch system and as part of an international crew
