Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on an offshore construction vessel in UK waters. You will support safe navigation, deck operations, and offshore construction activities, working closely with the bridge and deck teams.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer and Master with safe navigation and watchkeeping
- Maintain charts, publications, and navigational equipment
- Assist with DP operations and offshore construction support as required
- Participate in deck operations, mooring, and cargo handling
- Lead and supervise assigned deck crew during watch and operations
- Follow company and vessel safety procedures and participate in drills
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OOW CoC, meeting STCW requirements
- Valid UK Visa or UK Work Permit !!!
- Previous experience as 2/O, preferably on offshore or construction vessels
- Valid STCW basic safety training and other mandatory offshore certificates
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea service and eligible to work in the UK sector
