- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers and motormen in daily engine room operations
- Carry out cleaning, chipping, painting, and general maintenance
- Help with bunkering and lube oil transfer as directed
- Perform routine checks and report any irregularities
- Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and tidy
- Requirements:
- Valid seaman’s book and basic STCW certificates
- Previous experience as Wiper or engine rating preferred
- Good spoken and written English
- Medically fit for offshore work and worldwide trading
- Team player with a willingness to learn and follow instructions
