Join OSM Thome as 3rd Officer on a chemical tanker trading in HRA. You will support safe navigation, cargo operations, and deck work, working closely with the bridge and deck teams to keep the vessel, crew, and cargo safe.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watches as Officer of the Watch
- Assist with passage planning and voyage reporting
- Monitor vessel position, traffic, and weather
- Support cargo and ballast operations as directed
- Carry out routine safety, ISM, and security duties
- Assist with inspections, drills, and deck maintenance
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Officer (OOW) license – STCW compliant
- Chemical tanker experience and valid DG/chemical tanker endorsements
- All mandatory STCW safety and security certificates
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical and HRA readiness
