Join OSM Thome as Bosun on an offshore PSV in China. You will work closely with the deck crew and officers to keep the vessel safe, seaworthy, and ready for operations at all times.
- Key responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise deck ratings during deck and cargo operations
- Organize and carry out maintenance of deck, mooring gear, and safety equipment
- Assist with mooring, unmooring, and anchor handling operations
- Ensure safe work practices and proper use of PPE on deck
- Support loading, discharging, and securing of cargo and deck stores
- Requirements:
- Valid Bosun/AB certificates and seafarer documents as per STCW
- Proven experience as Bosun or senior AB on offshore vessels, preferably PSV
- Good knowledge of deck operations, mooring, and cargo handling
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Good English communication skills
