Set sail with OSM Thome as Chief Officer on an Offshore Well Stimulation Vessel in Congo. We are looking for an experienced and safety-minded leader to support deck operations and vessel management offshore.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in the safe navigation and overall operation of the vessel
- Plan and supervise deck and cargo/chemical handling operations for well stimulation
- Lead, train and manage deck crew to ensure safe and efficient work practices
- Maintain and monitor stability, ballast, and cargo condition at all times
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, flag state, class and international regulations
- Oversee maintenance of deck equipment, safety gear and LSA/FFA
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer / Chief Mate license (STCW II/2) with offshore experience
- Previous service as Chief Officer or strong 1/O experience on offshore/support vessels
- Experience in well stimulation or related offshore operations is an advantage
- Valid STCW certificates, medical and offshore survival certificates as required
- Strong safety mindset, leadership skills and good English communication
