Lead as Master (CPT) on an offshore PSV in Brazil with OSM Thome. Advance your career at sea in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.
We are looking for an experienced Master (CPT) to lead a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating offshore Brazil. You will be in full command of the vessel, ensuring safe navigation, efficient cargo operations, and compliance with company and client standards.
- Key responsibilities:
- Take full command of the PSV and ensure safe navigation at all times
- Plan and execute offshore supply operations in close coordination with charterers and offshore installations
- Lead and manage the deck and engine crew, maintaining good discipline and teamwork onboard
- Ensure compliance with flag state, class, ISM, ISPS and company procedures
- Oversee cargo handling, DP operations (if applicable), and deck activities to meet client requirements
- Maintain high standards of safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental protection
- Requirements:
- Valid Master (Unlimited) CoC meeting STCW requirements
- Proven experience as Master on offshore vessels, preferably PSV
- Strong background in offshore supply operations; DP experience/certification is an advantage
- Valid medical certificate, STCW basic and advanced safety courses
- Good command of English;
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
