Our client currently has a unique leadership opportunity within Victoria managing our established Services contract. Our client is seeking an employee focused, process driven professional with demonstrated initiative and attention to detail. Candidates should be flexible in their approach, have excellent leadership, time management skills and be able to prioritise and handle the dynamic changes of the industry.

The work scope of the Services contract is inclusive of marine infrastructure maintenance (Wharf, Pier and Aids to Navigation), inspection and reporting, diving and minor capital works programs.

 Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Management of the Victoria Business Unit and Team
  • Manage Business Unit forecast and budget to ensure financial success
  • Maintain good client/customer relationships
  • Account management of Services contracts
  • Ensure all time, budgetary and quality requirements are met
  • Oversee the running of all operations in Victoria
  • Develop solutions to address gaps in performance and patterns that are predictive of upcoming risks and issues
  • Drive the development and promote business capabilities of the business in Victoria.
  • Develop business strategies, objectives and goals for future growth
  • Concise understanding of WASCAM analysis and reporting requirements
  • Effectively manage harmonious relationships between shore based and marine crew

To be successfully considered for this role you must have:

  • Proven employment history in project execution and quality management discipline
  • Demonstrated work history in Marine Civil works
  • Effective and proven leadership experience and skills.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Safety focused work ethic with the ability to drive a safety focused culture
  • High attention to detail, information process and problem-solving capabilities
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to changing demands within the business
  • An ability to influence behavior through effective communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency to complete tasks and prioritise effectively.
