Purpose:
Ensure all seafarer documents are accurately scanned and uploaded into the Database Management System prior to embarkation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scan and upload seafarer documents into the system based on the competence matrix and required personal information.
- Verify and monitor all certificates and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the database and inform the team of document status.
- Assist in the signing and issuance of Contracts of Employment.
- Handle processing and cancellation of Employment Contracts/OEC, and onboard contract requirements.
- Prepare and submit monthly deployment reports to relevant government agencies.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Immediate Manager.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Familiarity with STCW and seafarer documentation is an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in administrative and computer tasks.
- Customer-oriented and willing to provide support beyond office hours.
