We are searching for a Bosun on an Offshore - Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel operating in the North Sea. We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual to contribute to our operations.

As a Bosun, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of deck activities. You will be responsible for leading a team of deckhands and ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and effectively.

4 week temporary contract with possible rotation according to feedback from the vessel

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate deck operations, including anchor handling, towing, and supply activities.
• Ensure all deck equipment and machinery are maintained and operated safely.
• Lead and motivate the deck crew, providing guidance and training as necessary.
• Conduct safety drills and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with mooring and unmooring operations.
• Report to the Chief Officer on deck activities and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Bosun on AHTS vessels with rig move is compulsory. 
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with deck operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing conditions.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant maritime qualifications.
• Able to communicate clearly in English, spoken and written.
