JD- Sr/ Marine Travel Executive
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out travel bookings in a timely manner and distribute workload when required.
Undertake relevant admin tasks and assist in producing invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure client travel policy is adhered to, report client issues to the Supervisor.
Ensure service is delivered as per the agreed SLA.
Ensure travel department activities are carried out as per the values and business ethics of Thome Group.
Effectively address and resolve queries/complaints.
Assist on boarding of new clients/vessels and monitor client satisfaction.
Nurture relationships with internal/external clients and suppliers.
Undertake relevant discussions with suppliers to resolve disputes and ADM’s
Assisting the wider group with process improvements, implementation of technology and any other changes as required.
Coordinate with crewing and fleet managers as in when required.
Positively advocate for travel division as in when required.
Any other duties as delegated within the scope and level of the post
It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times. All new starters receive Health and Safety training as part of their induction.
Education and qualification
Ability to use Amadeus or other GDS software
Experience in handling marine, offshore and oil &gas travel requirements.
Customer focussed and ability to lead a busy team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organised, self-motivated and calm under pressure
Can Do attitude and lead by example
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Fluent in English
Experience
Experience of back office software/systems
Familiarity with sales driven environment
Experience in an international/matrix structure

The Marine Travel Executive has authority as directed by the Marine Travel Supervisor and Travel Manager to act in accordance with her or his functions and responsibilities to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
