Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Experience in commissioning of offshore/onshore platforms or similar complex facilities.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across preparation, execution, and operational phases.
  • Deep knowledge of HSE systems, risk management practices, and compliance with international regulatory frameworks (e.g., IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISPS).
  • Experience preparing and managing budgets, tracking financial performance, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ability to coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and classification societies.
  • Competence in managing documentation (procedures, manuals, handover dossiers, audits).
  • Skilled in implementing and maintaining Safety Management Systems and planned maintenance programs.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Familiarity with emergency response preparedness and operational readiness activities.
  • Proficiency in English.

Tasks:

  • Lead pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up execution.
  • Ensure HSE procedures are applied and participate in safety reviews.
  • Coordinate teams, contractors, and vendors to meet schedule and quality goals.
  • Issue progress updates and manage commissioning handover documentation.
  • Support risk reviews, competency development, and lessons-learned capture.
  • Oversee safe, efficient operation of production facilities.
  • Maintain client interface and manage operational budgets and forecasts.
  • Implement SMS and maintenance programs, including audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor equipment performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage subcontractors, logistics, staffing, and technical support.
  • Support emergency response readiness and adherence to class/flag requirements.
  • Contribute to HSE plans, operating procedures, and commissioning planning.
  • Define commissioning priorities, isolation methods, and readiness checks.
  • Coordinate vendor/licensor activities and assist with schedules.
  • Prepare subcontracting scopes and verify facility readiness, spares, and maintenance setup.
  • Support crew onboarding, training, and preparation of reports and documentation.
