Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer (C/E) on a crude oil tanker trading in the North Sea. Take full responsibility for the engine department, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operation of all machinery and systems onboard.

• Key responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the engine room team in all daily operations and maintenance
• Oversee safe operation, repair and upkeep of main engine, auxiliaries and all technical equipment
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance according to company and vessel schedules
• Monitor fuel and lube oil consumption, condition and stock levels
• Ensure compliance with class, flag, vetting and company standards
• Prepare and follow up engine room reports, records and documentation
• Support safe cargo and ballast operations from the engine side

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer (Unlimited) license, meeting STCW requirements
• Recent experience as C/E or 1/E on crude oil tankers
• Strong knowledge of tanker operations and safety standards
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills
• Fit for duty with valid medical and relevant offshore/sea certificates
