2nd Officer (2/O) – Offshore Tug – Marshall Islands Flag, Israel
Description
2nd Officer required for Offshore Tug operating under Marshall Islands flag, joining in Israel. Candidate should have strong background on DP2 vessels and be confident with offshore tug operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Chief Officer with bridge watchkeeping and navigational duties
- Plan and execute voyages in compliance with international and company regulations
- Operate and monitor DP2 systems as directed
- Assist with mooring, towing, and anchor handling operations as required
- Maintain navigational equipment, charts, and publications up to date
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and security procedures on board
- Participate in drills, trainings, and safety meetings
Requirements
- Valid and appropriate STCW 2nd Officer license for service on Offshore Tug
- Minimum 2 years’ sea service as 2/O or equivalent rank
- Proven experience on DP2 vessels
- Previous FCV experience
- Valid STCW certificates and offshore medical
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Fit for duty and able to work in offshore environment
